Alaska’s Lonesome Dove Outfitters
Blacktail Deer Drop Camp

Alaska's Lonesome Dove Outfitters also offer drop camps for Blacktail Deer starting around Oct. 20. These are run very similarly to the spring Black Bear camps and allow you to do your own hunting in productive areas. They are also for 6 full days for $2000 per hunter, with a minimum of 3 hunters required. You will be provided with a comfortable camp that includes, food, cooking utensils, lanterns, zodiacs and motors if necessary, fuel and our knowledge of the area. Hunters are responsible for their own personal and hunting gear, sleeping bags, charter costs to and from the field (this usually runs around $400.00 round trip). Hunters are also responsible for Hunting license and tags (See Hunting & Tags). 4 deer tags are allowed per hunter.  A hunter also has a good chance of encountering a Black Bear, which may be taken with the additional Black Bear tag. The deer population in Prince William Sound is also increasing and calling these fall rutting bucks can be quite productive. This is another economical way to experience what hunting in Alaska can be.   Give a call at number or E-mail address listed on the home page.
