1999 was another successful year for Lonesome Dove Outfitters.  In spite of being plagued by some pretty harsh weather, our 100% success rate on Mountain Goats remains intact.  Some last minute cancellations from bear hunters left us with a single Brown Bear client.  However, this Client was Tom Miranda who has his Advantage Adventures Show on ESPN.  Tom successfully harvested a Brown Bear with his bow, and the entire hunt was captured on film.  You can see his show schedule by following this link to his web page.  Tom had a successful archery Goat hunt in 1998, and his Brown Bear this year is something to be proud of.  We also had Jay Novacek, who is the host of Cabela's Sportsman's Quest Show.  Jay also had a successful Mountain Goat hunt and his show will air in late November on ESPN and ESPN2.  The salmon fishing was also fantastic as was the waterfowl hunting.  We are getting connected with Buddy Janson out of Cordova who will specialize in sideline trips for some world class wingshooting.  With a big-game hunt, some salmon fishing, and waterfowl hunting, you can be sure to have a trip that will be second to none.
